Not quite, I just discovered a growing log ~/.vnc/polaris-ubuntu:5901.log

The tail of that log, which is now at 9.5 Mbytes (!!!!!) reads:

$ tail -n 30 .vnc/polaris-ubuntu:5901.log

What the h-ck is going on here?
And why is there no timestamp in the log so one can se when something was
logged?

While writing this the log has expanded by 500 kbytes!
