Printer install problem

WS-> I deleted the printer and reinstalled it using USB.  I tried to 
print a test page and the print queue says processing, but nothing else 
happens.

Yes, it shows the printer on line six.

I deleted the printer that used USB and reinstalled it using HPLIP.  I 
tried to print another test page and the print queue says processing but 
no printer action.This time I got a popup window saying "*NOT 
CONNECTED?   Printer HP-ENVY 5530-series may not be connected*"

I ran lsub to see if there were any changes.

AS you can see, there were no changes.

I tried using a different cable and a different USB port. Same results 
as before.
