Hi,
please stop using ChatGPT, at least to get this kind of information.
ChatGPT is hyped software, but it isn't good in providing this kind of
information, if anything, it's the worst way to get reliable
information, since it does mix information from reliable sources with
with wildly improvised fantasy answers.
If I select one mail by Evolution, I can save this single mail as mbox,
if I select two mails, it saves both mails as a single mbox file. You
can test this with almost all, if not all mailers supporting mbox.
I can't comment on Thunderbirds import options, Thunderbirds help or
manual page. Before merging several mbox files into a single file or
exporting one file by another, consider to Google. If you dislike
Google, find an alternative search engine. My experiences related to
Linux requests when using DDG and Co. aren't good, hence if I really
don't have a clue, I fall back to Google.
Btw. ChatGPT as well as search engines other than Google, tend to work
less well when using another language than English. But again, stop
using ChatGPT. Use DDG and Co. and if that doesn't help try Google.
Regards,
Ralf
