Interestingly enough, I do use Ventoy. and hope to summon the strength to
try Xubuntu sometime soon.

When I upgraded its RAM from 2GiB to 4GiB, I had to temporarily install
Windows and run the update. It looks like I have the latest update:-
BIOS Version 1.0.18 02/24/2009

Well, I pressed the Windows/Super key, typed in Drivers. It ran Software &
Updates and it reports "No additional drivers available" and
"No proprietary drivers are in use"/
