what is needed to interface with iOS or Android "doorbell cameras" on ubuntu?

I fitted a Reolink PoE camera to the front of my house up above my
porch about 18 months or so ago. I use the motion package from the
repos on my server to get recordings of things that are moving.
Generally works OK and I can download the recordings from anywhere with
WiFi. And I can watch it live from the back room with my phone.

Inexpensive too, about £40 for the camera (looks and feels really well
made) and £60 for the PoE switch.
