How to determine services/processes installed

Hi.

Did a basic start/install of ubuntu on digital ocean.

Also did a bunch of apt install foo...

Digital ocean apparently has an issue of "cloning/duplication" that
they don't seem to have the tech support to resolve. -- Use at your
own peril. If a cloud provider can't reliably "clone/copy" and
instance??? What good are they!

Anyway, if I'm going to have to "track' the methods used to "clone" a
droplet, Going to need to know how to figure out what the droplet
consists of.

So, I'm researching the best approach to this issue.
