Hi Liam,

The issue of Mint 21.1 is now moot because I upgraded my old computer to
Mint 21.2.  Because I have some doubts about the USB controller, I
finally got a new computer which I soon will dual boot with Mint 21.2
and Win 11.  I'm rather busy at the moment so it may take some time.

By the way, the printer in question belongs to a friend.  She switched
to Ubuntu  Linux and couldn't get her printer to work.  I am trying to
get it to work with Linux.  I assume that if I can get it to work with
Mint Linux, the same process will work with Ubuntu.

Best wishes,

Bill Stanley
