Alert! This is a warning sign. You are being scammed.

No you have not. You are talking to tech scammers. Block them and if
you paid get on to your bank *NOW* and block the payments.

Reasons:

1. There is no such thing as "Windows technical support". Windows is a
product not a company.
2. The company is Microsoft (MS). MS does not deal with end users.
3. Scammers are tech illiterate. You do not need to format a USB key
to install Windows. This is a lie.
