No idea. It looks like they're not. I did a quick bit of Googling and
came up with this command to try to list all sinks loaded into
PulseAudio. The SUSPENDED part has me worried:

$ pactl list short sinks
0       alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.analog-stereo
module-alsa-card.c      s16le 2ch 48000Hz       SUSPENDED

I followed that with this command to create human-readable
descriptions of detected devices:

$ pactl list sinks | grep description
device.profile.description = "Analog Stereo"
device.description = "Built-in Audio Analog Stereo"

That's a shame. Is there any way to turn it up?

There seem to be several different kinds on Amazon here:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pc+buzzer

And it looks like you get a similar list in Germany:

https://www.amazon.de/s?k=pc+buzzer
