I have already explained more than everybody wanted to know how much
and why I hate the proliferation of packaging systems on Linux, so
unless it really turned out to be the only way to get what I need, I
hope I can avoid npm and npm packages here...

so that is the official way from docker to install its last stable
version, using a traditional packaging system and repository? If so,
