LTS upgrade to 22.04 stuck on snapd restart

I wonder then, why, if the "Ubuntu Software" thing would update it, 
Software Updater does not detect that an update is available.

I have just run the Software Updater, and, that tells me that the system 
is up to date.

I have also, when the Software Updater has told me that updates are 
available, run apt update and apt full upgrade, and, that does not 
detect that any update for firefox is available.
