Hey there,
If there are no just-plain-written instructions, those would be easy
enough for one of us to type up. I'd be happy to do it if pointed at
a resource that's likely to be reliable for what you're about to do.
There's one other thing that's worrying me, though, and that's that
stuff sometimes goes gloriously wrong with installations and if you
can't see the screen and it's not giving you any auditory feedback to
let you know what's wrong, you won't know what the next steps are to
recover from it.
You've most likely heard of AIRA and Be My Eyes and if there's no
seeing person handy to watch the installation, either of those could
watch while you do this and describe what's happening or not
happening in the event that things don't go as planned.
