PMFJI. Could it be a snap permissions thing?

I used this command to find out what Firefox is allowed to do on my system
but its output didn't mean much to me:
$ snap connections firefox

Then there is this page about printing from snaps:
https://snapcraft.io/docs/cups-interface

I am not a snap expert, by any stretch of the imagination.
