Instead of using phrases like "FUD and nonsense" when referencing
another post, please be specific about what, exactly, it is that
you're disagreeing with or questioning.

I didn't see Ralf's posts as bad-mouthing anything. In fact, I think
his posts in this thread have been surprisingly gentle and helpful.
He listed many resources with step-by-step instructions for what to
try and he came up with some good questions to help the OP to dig
further.

It's a shame that this sort of message was posted. I'd rather see
fewer or no posts filled with passionate defense that don't actively
work toward helping either the development teams or the users.
In my personal experience, the transition to the Firefox Snap has not
been handled smoothly by the Ubuntu team(s). This has caused several
issues, many of which have languished untouched and unresolved for
years and some of which I've confirmed:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd
I realize that Snap could be important for the containerized future
we're all heading towards and that some folks feel very strongly about
it, but I'd rather see the development teams take a more active
interest in resolving the issues in a timely manner and take a more
active interest in the wishes of the users. In the meantime, I'm glad
there are posts like Ralf's pointing out some things that users can
do for themselves and encouraging users to look at their issues from
various angles.
