I installed Ubuntu 21.10 beta on a lenovo ThinkPad T500, to learn LAMP
stuff. It worked pretty much like Ubuntu 20.04.3 running on a lenovo
ThinkPad T420 with two exceptions:-
1) automounting USB flash drives is problematic - I have to connect a drive
and then, to be able to access it, I have to look at the drive in Nautilus
first.
2) The little square graphic at the bottom left hand side of the screen is
corrupted, as are the little icons at the top right hand side of the screen.
I don't suppose anyone knows which package to report these bugs under via
ubuntu-bug? (Apologies for my tardiness)
And, in due course, I upgraded from Ubuntu 21.10 beta to Ubuntu 21.10 and,
apart from the mentioned bugs, is behaving well.
TIA,
Ian
