Using some means still available to you, find out the IP address of a
suitable test target. For example:

kauer at kt1:~$ dig +short www.google.com
142.250.66.196

Put that IP address into the Firefox location bar, with "https://" in
front of it, i.e., "https://142.250.66.196"

Hit "ENTER" and see if Google appears. If it does (probably after a
certificate warning), you have a DNS problem. It may or may not be
unique to Firefox.

If this test has the same result as using "www.google.com" in the
location bar, then Firefox may really have a problem.

Do this test and let us know. No point theorising more at this point.

Regards, K.
