Do you mean a USB wifi adapter? So that a machine with no wireless card
can connect to a local network?

I bought a tp-Link TL-WN823 300Mb/s adapter in 2018 to get an old PC
online for testing (I forget where from but they should be easy to
find). I have used it on Linux, Mac, and Windows and it works fine.
