I had no idea - didn't think to look.  In the past I've gone with the
proprietary drivers from Nvidia, but more recently the nouveau driver
worked fairly well.

I just installed the Ubuntu repo Nvidia driver, and it came up flawlessly.

I'll post again if anything goes whacko.  As I said, I've had pretty
good results with the Nvidia drivers, so here's hoping!
