Okay let's try this again.
I can't seem to figure out how to use a mailing list...

ANYWAYS,

Double check Windows for "Power Saving" features that would disable/turn 
off the wifi module.

I've seen Windows effectively "block" wifi on my Linux partition because 
it turns the module off and for some reason it doesn't turn back on when 
Linux boots and we get no wifi, and no way to manage wifi, because it 
doesn't even see the device.
