Plasma update?

Running Kubuntu, updated recently, Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS. Keep getting a
popup with:

Plasma Workspace
Upgrade available
Ubuntu on 22.04.1 LTS.
This version will stop receiving updates and security fixes in 125
days. 
[upgrade]

Not sure why I got this. Does Plasma update more frequently than the
22.04 timing would indicate? Is 20.04.5 LTS really going to stop
receiving updates and security fixes in 125 days? Do I need to do the
update?

If not, how to disable this popup? [Another snap???]
