mailto: does not open an Evolution compose window

I've googled my little socks off and cannot find a solution to this
apparently simple issue: How to make an Evolution mail compose window
open when I click on a mailto: link in a web page.

In "Settings -> Evolution" it is showing in the Links section, but as
"mailto://". I cannot unset that, change it, or add another entry. So
that's another question :-)

Any ideas?
