I have been running 20.04 using Xorg not wayland.
I wanted to switch over to wayland to try so I change /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
to:
[daemon]
waylandEnable=true
AutomaticLoginEnable=true
AutomaticLogin=jerry
TimedLoginEnable=true
TimedLogin=jerry
TimedLoginDelay=0
and I rebooted - however :
ps ax | grep X
still shows Xorg and not Xwayland ???
Is there something else I missed ? Is hte user "cached" as using Xorg
before and the system is using that cache setting? How do I clear that and
run Xwayland?
Thanks,
Jerry
