I also fancied a test, I downloaded the iso (from normal Ubuntu page) , 
prepared a live USB, and booted on my Desktop PC

all went very well (only one choice on first screen) and it looks like 21.10 is 
again Unity, I downloaded neofetch to check

and yes it is Unity 7.5.1 (not displeased really) I think it will get installed 
on my current 21.04 box (lets see how it deals with nVidia GS8300) wonder if It 
will offer upgrade or need a fresh install
