I know what you mean. Unfortunately for me, while I can remember
technical junk like this, I confuse my partner's name with our
daughter's... :-/

It's _much_ older than that. This model series was released in 2011:

They are really good machines -- for my money the last really good
generation of Thinkpads. After the 220/420/520, Lenovo became
fashion-followers and went over to flat chiclet keyboards, buttonless
trackpads, strange rectangular power sockets that are easy to confuse with
USB connectors, and other less-useful, but trendy, features.

I have an X220 and T420 and would like to get hold of the Core i7 versions
of the whole range, so I can keep using those lovely keyboards as long as
possible.
