can't speak for 21.04 as I could not get it to work (all sorts of gliches and
quirks) but when I used the xorg nouveau driver on 20.04 the only res offered
was 640x480 (not great on a 1920x1200 screen, not to mention that "if" I tried

All was well "before" I upgraded for kernel 5.8.0-59, after that both 5.11.0-27
& 5.11.0-34 wont boot to a desktop (or so it has been stated) I have trie dto
get a terminal (which I thought was not working at all) but even with a short
user name (only four chars) the terminal login prompt only disapears beforeI
can enter them, and if by somne fluck i manage it goes before I can cnt the
second char of my password (I touch type 60 words a minute on a good day)
I was going to just go back to 5.8.0-59 but it seems something I did to repair
the upgrades has frigged that one also
