Slowly but surely it becomes ridiculous.

To boot Ubuntu, there's no need for a Windows activation code. Even to
use Windows to some extend not necessarily an activation code is
required. However, for a full-featured Windows it is required.

Seemingly Microsoft makes it easier to use free as in beer legal grey
area activation codes of Chinese companies or Korean leaked keys, than
legally bought activation codes, or those using free as in beer legal
grey area leaked activation codes are just smarter than Microsoft
customers and able to spend 2 minutes reading a howto. Getting a legal
or not that legal Microsoft product key shouldn't take days and a thread
on a Linux mailing list. It should take less than a day of googling to
get a not that legal key and to ensure (by reading) that it doesn't
inherit a security risk. It should take just a few minutes to send a
request to the customer support, if there are issues with a legal
product key. A Linux mailing list isn't the right place for Windows
issues. By another thread it was criticized that this mailing list is
not for Mint! But it is for Microsoft Windows?
