Copied system partitions to USB disk, how to proceed to make a clone?

I searched the web and found this other vbs script, which is a bit more complex
but seems to do the same extraction.

It can save the info, it will go to the desktop as a text file
WindowsKeyInfo.txt

It also gets the string shown as ProductID in Control Panel/System

I don't know if it is valid for a re-install, though.
