Autoinstall question

I need to the autoinstall to "pickup" and use the values for IP
(IP/subnet/Gw) that are passed to the linux kernel command line - how can I
do that ?

The kernel command line can have   ip=IP::GW:NM:::none   kind of argument.

OR - is there a way to "execute" commands in autoinstall to basically parse
the /proc/cmdline and do it myself if there isnt a method in place already
???
