Aha! You mean that the alt-tab window switcher ignores windows on
other virtual desktops, and only switches between windows on the
current virtual desktop?
I *HATE* that feature and I always turn if off it at all possible.
It's all my computer. If I want to switch programs, I want to switch
between all of them and I do not want the barrier of virtual desktops
or anything getting in the way.
:-D I guess all I am saying here is that what you consider "really
useful behaviour" is my hated productivity-destroying waste of bytes,
so be careful in assuming that your preferences are everyone's.
I do not use GNOME, so I don't know how to enable/disable this. When
you say "the Ubuntu DE" I presume you mean GNOME.
