I just checked on my release-upgraded Ubuntu server, which has migrated from
16.04 to 18.04 to 20.04.

$ which snap
/usr/bin/snap

So obviously I have snap installed by the latest release-upgrade, I guess...

Question:
---------
How can i find out what it has installed using snap and how can I then remove
that crap? I do not want any new applications on my upgraded system, I do the
server upgrades *only* for security reasons...
And the applications not part of stock Ubuntu Server are installed by me using
apt and I want it to remain like that.

Can I get rid of snap altogether then I will do that.
Suggestions welcome.
