It's pretty good.

Honestly I don't see a huge draw to Debian itself. Never did. Ubuntu
is what drew me into the .DEB side of things: easier, more practical,
less faff.

(OK, I did spend some time running Corel LinuxOS and Xandros. And
Linux Mint Debian Edition was also quite interesting -- a different
team taking a different approach to making Debian friendlier and
easier. Crunchbang was good too, but Crunchbang++ and BunsenLabs don't
add enough to keep it interesting, for me.)

But Devuan is interesting because instead of "Debian plus some stuff",
it's "Debian *minus* some stuff you might not want."
