AMD CPU locks up during video playback

Hi,

after the first step, something like a

the second step is testing another browser and/or another driver (FLOSS
vs proprietary vs vesa vs modesetting for testing purpose), followed by
the third step, sending a request to a mailing list, by mentioning that
using different browsers and drivers didn't help to get rid of the
issue.

FWIW you could either run brave by command line and redirect stderr and
stdout to a log file or take a look at $HOME/.xsession-errors .
If you should use X, the appropriate log file is /var/log/Xorg.0.log .
There might be special log files for NVIDIA or Wayland, too. Google
probably knows.

While I wouldn't start with journalctl, it might help to take a look
how to use it, e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Systemd/Journal ,
but it is quite possible that /var/log/syslog and similar don't contain
useful information, hence I would care more about Xorg.0.log .
