Stack Overflow is the hub of the biggest community of techies trying
to help each other out on the web. AskUbuntu is part of the Stack
Overflow network.

You often have to scroll down to the end of long question-and-answer
pages to find the most recent solutions -- the ones at the top may
have lots of votes but could be years old and obsolete.

It's definitely worth creating an account and asking questions there
if we can't help you.
