BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol

I have Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS bionic , and each time I
"wake up" my computer after sleeping, it shows one more copy
of the following 3 lines than it was showing the previous time

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\_SB-PC00.PGOF], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190816/psargs-330)

ACPI Error: Aborting method \GUAM due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (2019/08/16/psparse-531)

ACPI Error: Aboring method \SB.PEPD._DSM due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20190816/psargs-531)

with [number.number] to the left of each line, before it goes to the login screen.
I can give more detail on those numbers, but I doubt that matters.
My computer seems to be gradually spending more time on the screen
with those error messages, as the number of error messages increases.

Any ideas on how I might fix the issue?

Thankyou,
Eric Demer
