Question on XWayland or Xorg

I see this when my machine is booting up :
   1852 tty1     S+     0:00 /usr/bin/Xwayland :1024 -rootless -noreset
-accessx -core -auth /run/user/122/.mutter-Xwaylandauth.WA2770 -listen 4
-listen 5 -displayfd 6 -listen 7

Which is odd since I have : in /etc/gdm3/custom.cong

[daemon]
waylandEnable=false

Why does XWayland start and exit? I think I would only see Xorg ???
