Yeah.... that's pretty much exactly why I won't bother. I've done my
time.

When it works with apt like thousands of other great programs, I'll
give it a try.

Some programs are meant for hackers, and the install can be as tricky
as you like. Some programs just need to work out of the box, or they
are not useful. This is one of them.
