Beg to differ, Commodore** definitely did (or could) can't speak for the Atari
but as the Amiga & ST were going head-to-head at the time I would guess they
also did

Amiga 1.30 Rom (and maybe 1.00, 1.10 & 1.20) as fitted in the early A500,
A1000, A1500, A2000 & CDTV's could be replaced with the 2.04, 2.05 Rom as
fitted in the A500+, not sure on the 3.00 & 3.10 Rom's that were in the A600,
A1200, A3000 & CD32's, probably not, but could be wrong I never tried
