https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Soundkarten_konfigurieren/HDA/
the snd-hda-intel driver knows an option "model=vaio" ...
try using:
options snd-hda-intel model=vaio
in your /etc/modprobe.d/ adjustments instead of model=generic ...
if you look at
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/sound/hd-audio/models.html
there seem to be a few more vaio and sony related models you could try
...
