Hello.
On a computer running UbuntuMATE 19.10, the Software Updater showed
that the upgrade to 20.04 is available, so I selected the Upgrade
option.
After downloading the (about) 2.4GB of packages - around 2313
packages, it started installing them, the started displaying error
messages, stating that packages are not found, and that dependencies
are unmet, so the partial upgrade could not complete.
I have a screenshot of the last screen of he process, but I do not
know whether I can post attachments to this list.
Anyway, the upgrade process from 19.10 to 20.04, is broken.
Oh, and, at the start of the process, just before I confirmed the
upgrade to occur, a dialogue bos stated that it is (now?) the
development version of 20.04, for testing - indicating that 20.04 has
not yet been formally released.
So, the upgrade process, which appeared to have been formalised and
finalised, appears to be buggy.
