Apple publishes and supports very good software for publishing and
design and too, and has always been a favorite in that field. Since
the advent of the iPhone and the iPad many people in finance and other
professions where Macs were practically non-existent fifteen years ago
are now big Mac users.

I've seen that thread, and read a few of the posts. In general,
though, Linux isn't highly regarded on that list.

OK; I'm not surprised. But my point about Android and iOS was about
some Ubuntu users complaining about _using_ Snaps, and yet are most
likely happily using the Snap-like apps on Android and iOS.
