Recommendation for a graphic adapter for Ubuntu 16.04

Hi,

we have a system running Ubuntu 16.04.
We need a new graphic adapter beccause we want to attach 2 27 inch monitors with high resolution (2560 x 1440).
We also like to have an adapter we can use for parallel computing (R, python), so a big numer of GPU's would be fine.

Is there someting you can recommend ?
