18.04.

It's pretty old now and Mint 19 is actually pretty good, so I would
recommend you upgrade.

Geany is a handy little tool -- it isn't my default text editor for
plain text or for XML (which is $DAYJOB) but it's my default editor
for XML entity and Python files. It has good syntax highlighting,
handy multi-file handling abilities, and it can automatically call a
compiler/interpreter and present any output back to you. It's
somewhere between a full-featured text editor and an ultra-basic IDE.
Useful program.
