I can't remember which version of Ubuntu Mint 18.3 is based on but it's
Geany is 1.27 so it must be older. I just wanted to try out Geany so I
thought a snap would be a good way to install something that may not
last the day.
I looked a little and couldn't find a .deb from somewhere I was familiar
with so I guess I will install 1.27 from Mint's repository and test it
out. If I like it I'll figure out how to get a more up to date copy.
Thanks, Jim
