Hmm. Could be tricky.

I have not have AMD-based PCs for over a decade now, so I am a little
out of date. I am guessing that your motherboard video-out is driven
by the CPU's on-board GPU, is that right?

I am looking at this page:

And I am not sure that your Ryzen 7 *has* an onboard GPU. I think it
may be a pure CPU with no graphics. In which case, no, nothing will
output from the motherboard port.
