3 Displays on Focal Fossa

Hi There

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 for some times not.

Being condemned to home-office, I wanted to add a third screen to my Ubuntu box.

Unfortunately this seems not to work as easily as expected.

My box is using a MSI MPG Gaming pro Carbon mother board with some AMD Ryzen 
(AMD® Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor × 16) processor.

Display-Ports I have:

1. HDMI on main board

2. 1. HDMI and 1 Display port on a graphics  (GeForce GT 1030/PCIe/SSE2) card.

However Ubuntu seems only to see the the GeForce card.


How can I tell Ubuntu to also use the one display port on the motherboard?
