question about PciExpress slots and SSDs

Hi,
I've got no free SATA slot anymore, one SSD can't be accessed at full
speed already [1]. I've got 2 PCIe slots, one slot is used by a
RME HDSPe AIO audio card and I fear that even if a PCIe SSD should work
without issues, it could impact audio performance of that PCIe card.
I consider to replace one SATA SSD after the other by a 480 GB or
larger SSD.
However, I'm interested in information related to PCIe SSDs, too.
