Don't forget the sata cable, particularly if its "hot" red. That
particular plastic dye has been known to be hell on the wire in it since
the 1970's by me. I'm an old CET, and I've poured what looks like rust
out of hot red plastic insulation where there was originally a stranded
copper wire, literally hundreds of times. And I have a bag with 8 or 9
such sata cables pulled out of my own machines. Replaced with any other
color of cable but hot red, some might call it magenta. put a tail on
the log, then touch and move the cable, if the log blows up with sata
resets, new cable time, and NOT red.
