I've had that.
Hilariously, Gmail treats Gmail as a "less secure app" and to have
Gmail account #1 collect mail from Gmail account #2 you have to enable
"less secure app" access in Gmail a/c #2.

Remember, Google is your friend. Don't go hunting through settings
dialogs. Google first.
