If what you need is a mail client that connects to the Exchange
protocols (as opposed to some specific feature of the Outlook
interface), there is an excellent replacement interface for Outlook
called Hiri (hiri.com). I use this all the time in Linux to do my O365
mail. Free trial period, then something like €35 a year I think, so it
is regular commercial software, but IMHO it's good enough to warrant it.
