Sorry. I wanted to reply to your last advice but have failed to find
the method.
Thanks to you I have removed the duplicate entries. Then did a Software
Updater that ended by offering the 18.04 upgrade.
The Upgrade ran smoothly for 2.5 hours and is working well now. Just
looks a bit different of course.
